Strawberry High Protein Yogurt Bites (Print View)

Creamy Greek yogurt blended with fresh strawberries and protein powder, frozen into bite-sized portions for a quick healthy snack.

# What You Need:

→ Dairy & Protein

01 - 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla, 2% or 0%
02 - 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored whey protein powder

→ Fruit

03 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely diced

→ Sweetener & Extras

04 - 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
05 - 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
06 - Pinch of fine sea salt

→ Coating

07 - 1/2 cup dark or white chocolate chips

# How to Make It:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, protein powder, honey or maple syrup if using, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth and fully incorporated.
03 - Gently fold in the diced strawberries until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
04 - Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, portion out tablespoon-sized mounds onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart.
05 - Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours until the bites are completely firm.
06 - Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Dip each frozen bite in melted chocolate or drizzle over the top. Return to the freezer for 10 minutes to set the chocolate.
07 - Transfer bites to an airtight container and store in the freezer. Allow to sit at room temperature for 2-3 minutes before serving for optimal texture.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They're ready in fifteen minutes and you probably have everything in your kitchen right now
  • The texture is somewhere between frozen yogurt and a truffle, which somehow feels indulgent while being mostly protein
02 -
  • These soften quickly at room temperature, so serve them straight from the freezer and eat within five minutes
  • If your mixture feels too thin to scoop, pop it in the fridge for fifteen minutes before portioning
03 -
  • Buy extra strawberries when they're in season and freeze diced portions so you can make these year round
  • The mini silicone molds work better than a baking sheet if you want perfectly shaped bites without the scooping step
