19 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
20 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
21 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
22 - ½ teaspoon salt
23 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. In a large bowl, toss sweet potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Spread in a single layer on the baking tray.
02 - Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
03 - Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, onion, garlic, parsley, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
04 - Shape the turkey mixture into 4 equal patties.
05 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
06 - Lightly toast burger buns if desired.
07 - Place lettuce, cooked turkey patty, tomato, onion, and pickles on each bun base. Add mayonnaise and ketchup if desired, then top with the other half of the bun.
08 - Serve immediately with sweet potato fries on the side.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The turkey stays remarkably juicy thanks to that bit of Worcestershire sauce that took me three attempts to get just right.
  • The sweet potato fries develop these incredible crispy edges while maintaining a tender center, making them dangerously easy to devour before the burgers are even assembled.
02 -
  • Resist the urge to press down on the patties while cooking or you'll squeeze out those precious juices that keep the turkey moist.
  • Flipping the sweet potato fries exactly halfway through baking ensures both sides get that coveted golden crispness rather than ending up with a tray of half-perfect fries.
03 -
  • Grate a small amount of raw onion rather than chopping it for the patties to distribute the flavor more evenly without creating large chunks that might cause your burgers to fall apart.
  • Let the sweet potato fries cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes after removing from the oven - this final step allows them to crisp up even more as the steam releases.
