- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Process Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Add softened cream cheese and blend until completely incorporated and a thick, uniform dough develops.
- Portion dough into tablespoon-sized scoops and roll into smooth balls. Arrange on prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Freeze balls for 20 to 30 minutes until firm throughout. Proper chilling prevents balls from falling apart during chocolate coating.
- Place white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth and fluid.
- Using a fork or dipping tool, submerge each chilled ball in melted chocolate. Lift and allow excess to drip off, then return to baking sheet. Work quickly while coating remains tacky.
- While coating is still wet, cut mini marshmallows diagonally to create ear shapes. Dip cut edges in pink sugar or gel, then attach to ball tops. Position chocolate chips as eyes, heart sprinkle or M&M mini as nose, and mini marshmallow as tail.
- Refrigerate decorated balls for at least 30 minutes until chocolate coating is completely set. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
